Classes in the laboratory

By Sara Quintero, 6th B

My experience to go to a laboratory is very good and funny, because it helps us to include and learn many things better and it motivates to us to learn more the world of Science.
With teacher Melba we make groups to verify the Process of OSMOSIS and the DIFFUSION through cell membranes, and we brought materials (eggs, towel, dressing gown of the laboratory, isodine, metric tape to measure, cornstarch, vinegar, etc) and we observed for several days how the substances pass from one gradient to another. We also learnt how to take records, data, measurements from our observations, fill in charts in our Lab Guide and come to a conclusion.
One of the most interesting things was to see how the eggs expanded when they were immersed in one substance and how other eggs were reduced or shrunk. It was cool!
